“Let no man despite thy youth…give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Neglect not the gift that is in thee…” 1 Tim 4:12-14.

In the rising of stars and great men, times and seasons are very vital. For everything under the son, there is a season for it. When a farmer misses his planting season, he has to wait for the next season. But the unfortunate thing about us is that, we don’t have a spare life. It is now or it never was. For this cause, we as AFM have set out to prepare the young generation to live their lives to the fullest of their potentials given them by God. The increasing rate of the youth diverting into carelessness and neglect of purpose is alarming. As it is that, every great leadership system must seek to raise a next generation of leaders to replace them after they are no more. The power of leadership is not truly seen in leading followers, it is seen in raising followers into leaders and agents of change, transformation and preservation. But it is quite unfortunate many have neglected this task. So, Young and Useful Summits are an avenue of gathering young people who are enlisted on the platform of greatness and nurturing them through kingdom principles to see them rise to fill in various vacuums in the church and the cooperate world. At young a useful, a seed of starting early, carefully and strategically is sowed into the people. They are taught that, “no one becomes great in this life by mistake, by miracle or by breakthrough” but through “a systematic application of the right principles in that sphere of life continually”.

We believe that the young generation of people can be Young and yet Useful. In many other countries around the world, we have CEOs and Managers who are in their youthful season. Again, we have ministers of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, who are young but have given themselves wholly to the work of the ministry. Why then can’t we have people like these in our part of the world? It has been found out that, Africans are late risers in life, so they die without living to fulfil their days.

By the time Jesus was 12 years, he knew his assignment and what he was here to do and finish. But is it so in our part of the world? At age 12, a young person should not be walking here and there looking for what to do, they should have found their assignment in life by then. It is told of Mark Zuckerberg that he co-founded Facebook at age, 19 and by the age of 33, he was worth 61.7b USD. And the stories goes back to where he was taught Atari Basic Programming by his father when he was 12, and he created his first messenger called “ZuckNet” at that age.

So, we are in a race and not a fun, the earlier men are enlisted the greater their chances of rising and their possibility of stardom. This is why young and useful is here, to inform, prepare, train and equip the youth to be YOUNG and USEFUL

Our family meetings are our avenues of connecting the sons, daughters and partners to stay and be trained towards the vision at hand. During family meetings, we share ideas, interact and learn new strategies to rising perpetually. Family meetings are held at a minimum or twice a year with other meetings alongside.

Prayer Connect is a fellowship under the AFM Family Network. When AFMs find themselves in a school or a community, in order to connect with each other, they meet once or twice a week to pray and fellowship. It can also be organised by any AFM around the world to connect believers to pray.

It depends on what you call a church. AFM Family Network is not a church, we are made of people from different churches and fellowships. And that’s what makes us a family network. As part of our vision, we will plant church, fellowships, businesses, organisations (NGO’s and Foundations) and ministries. If any AFM starts a fellowship or ministry, it becomes a subset of The AFM Family Network and it receives mentorship, support and accountability from the umbrella.

Sure, why not? Only that it must be approved by the servant of God; Rev. Azanduna, after the person has gone through a series of trainings.

1. AFMs honour the aged, men of influence and great men. When we come into the presence of a great man, we take time to honour them in speech and in deed. We never meet a great man and pass by in admiration.
2. We sow seeds of honour into people who have helped us one way or the other by either texting them, calling and or reminding them of how much they have helped us by saying the exact thing they did for us to them. We do so to let whosoever they are know that we are grateful for that.
3. An AFM, sows a seed of honour into a person who gives a good advice or service to him or her by doing something for them. Buy them all water, airtime, a shirt or celebrate them on social media (but we don’t make it specific in public Eg: thank you for buying me that car. No!)
4. AFMs never criticise men in Authority. We are busy doing what we are called to do and not to criticise and find faults with people. Here, we believe that men don’t just rise by mistake, and the fact that they have gotten to that level means they didn’t just have it on a silver platter, they paid various prices to get there. And for that, when we come in the company of people who are quick to fight or say destructive things against men of God and people in authority, we either leave or we smile.
5. In AFM, we see and know that everyone has a bad side. And so, we try our best not to magnify the bad of people we live to work with...we rather look at the good side of people and pretend as if we haven’t noticed their shortcomings. We believe that, criticising the bad side of a good thing is a sign of witchcraft.
6. In AFM, we take time to celebrate our own. When they achieve a feet, we celebrate them. When they fall, we lift them and honour them with love.

1. We believe that no one becomes great by mistake. Men rise by what they know and what they are willing to apply, for which they are busy doing so. And for that cause, we endeavour to lead a studious lifestyle. As it is that, if we don’t read, we can’t lead, we continually give attention to reading and studious life.
2. In AFM, a man is expected to master his sphere of influence. We believe in diligence and hard work. Anyone who claims to be an AFM must give attention to learning to master the art of whatever their hands have found to do. Be it Engineering, Music, Arts, Ministry, Sports, etc. You cannot be in AFM and not pay attention to learning.
3. In AFM, we value mastery. And there is no master who was not a student. Therefore we don’t entertain novices in whatsoever, but we don’t put undue pressure on anyone to grow but we do admonish that they grow.
4. In AFM, we strongly believe in the power of mentorship. Your mentor is a gift from God who should not be taken lightly and must be pursued with zeal. We don’t entertain mentees who want their mentors to be their colleagues or their cheerleader! Your mentor is your coach!
5. Schedule private moments with your mentors. Mentors teach much important things in the secret than in the open. If possible, endeavour to have a private time with your mentor and go to him or her with an aim of what to expect from him by the time you are done being with your mentor.
6. In the place of mentorship, we don’t expect a protégé to share private matters shared by a mentor to others. That to use is a form of disloyalty.
7. AFMs are learners, wherever they go, they observe the environment to learn and apply as soon as possible. We believe in copying the right things! We don’t believe in being fake, we believe that we are all a result of the people we have encountered and the experiences we have had in this life.
8. An AFM should not let a week go by without biting and chewing a book. We study continually.

1. The proof of love is sacrifice. No man becomes great without sacrifice. Sacrifice is a key ingredient in the making of giants in the kingdom. Thus, an AFM is expected to sacrifice their lives, time, energy, and friends, family, money if the need be to fulfil their God given assignment.
2. If it not painful, then it is not a sacrifice. With regards to our various activities and schedules, we expect our members to continually sacrifice their time, energy, money, resources to push our vision and focus from one level to the other. We therefore do not sit down to expect any external help, when we need something done, we get up and start working!

1. An AFM is formal when it comes to dressing and in conduct. We don’t expect our people to dress anyhow no matter where they are going. We believe that we are meant to stand in the midst of kings so we prepare ourselves continually on that.
2. An AFM never goes to a meeting unprepared! You never go to a meeting without a good jotter with a hardcover and a pen. This shows that you are serious about your life and your destiny. Those who don’t take notes are enlisted to fail in this life.
3. An AFM does not use informal speech when talking to people no matter who they are or where they come from. We don’t speak informal languages. We don’t type in shorthand when chatting with people either through sms, whatsApp or any other form, we value relationships.
4. AFMs never shout at or humiliate a gentleman or a lady in public. We believe in diplomacy and honour. When they are not right, we smile and move on, we don’t create scenes of dissatisfaction in public.
5. An AFM never makes nasty comments about people or occasions. When we don’t agree to things or don’t like them, we either kindly approach or we smile and move on.
6. We don’t take peoples’ phones and gadgets and start spying on them. When someone gives us their phone, we look at what they want us to do and ignore the rest.
7. An AFM doesn’t walk and eat while walking or standing by a public place. We sit down to eat. We don’t chew gum in public (i.e. during a meeting or chatting with people or church service).
8. An AFM is not a gossip… we rather discuss mistakes and ideas than people.
9. An AFM does not rush to do things…especially when we enter a group, we observe how things are done before we make our move (this is called the principle of the snake).
10. When a guest minister is invited for any of our programs, we relate with them in a formal and diplomatic sense even if he is your friend or blood relations. You don’t take the contact of a guest minister without permission from the commandant.

1. When an AFM is courting with a person, he/she does not make a public show of that relationship. We build in secret and we present it to the world. This does not also mean we don’t let people who are influential in our lives know, we do just that. But we don’t go about telling everyone what we are doing.
2. An AFM does not stick his tongue into another’s relationship issues. We stay in our lane. But we try to help each other build our relationships, but when things don’t go well for one, we shield them, we don’t expose them.
3. In no way should an AFM go and sell another AFMs personal issues to an outsider. This is not honourable at all, and whatsoever a man sows, he reaps.
4. AFMs are expected to read not less than five proven books on relationship and family life from renown authors like Gary Charpman, John Hagee. T.D. Jakes, Dag Heward Millls, Adomah Kwasi Solomon, etc before they are set for marriage.
5. AFMs don’t indulge in fornication or adultery of any form, we believe in purity

1. An AFM builds solid relations with people who have a positive influence in their lives. The others are just acquaintances. If they can’t make you, they will unmake you.
2. An AFM doesn’t entertain childish and time wasting relationships… we move on. If they don’t want us to succeed, we walk away from them. If they constantly distract us, we delete them and move.
3. In AFM, we believe in the value of relationships are one for the virtues of true riches. So we don’t underestimate the impact of any relationship whatsoever, we don’t take chances for granted. We always cease the opportunity to be helped, blessed, enlightened and transformed.
4. AFMs don’t make unnecessary friends (jokers and entertainers). We only make comrades (friends) and family. We are serious people and so we have no time to waste making friends who will waste our time.
5. Define your relationships with people. Don’t allow people walk around your life without purpose. It is very lethal.

1. An AFM uses both hard and soft bible.
2. An AFM fasts at least twice a week, Sunday as compulsory (based on church or denominational meeting day) and any other day of the week. We believe fasting is a spiritual exercise which helps to bring the flesh under the influence of the Spirit.
3. AFMs don’t sleep or stay at home because they are tired or sick. If you are tired, you still go to work and school..so you have no excuse. Behind every excuse, there is a lack of desire.
4. An AFM must have spiritual father(s) who guide and lead them to serve God more and more.
5. An AFM prays everyday…we get time to speak to God (in a busy day, we do prayer talk-walk-work)
6. An AFM is a church worker. We believe that, we serve God by working in the church
7. We are soakers, we soak in spiritual tapes and books to sharpen and build us.
8. We are copiers, we copy the conduct of our fathers and how they serve God and relate with him. We believe we get to know God well by observing how our fathers related to him

1. Don’t take the contact of the members of the guest minister unless the guest minister asks you to do so.
2. Don’t make friends with your guest ministers members if you want to maintain your relationship with the guest minister.
3. Before you go to minister for anyone, be sure to know them or do background research of them through prayer and careful study. Don’t minister for a stranger. At least someone you trust should recommend them to you.
4. Don’t invite a stranger to come and minister for you at your church or fellowship until you have studied them to know they are genuine.
5. Know the purpose of inviting every minister because every minister has a special ministry.
6. An AFM minister must carry his jotter everywhere he goes. He needs to be constantly noting and planning. He can’t be careless.
7. When you send a letter to a minister you are inviting, be sure to include his accommodation, honorarium, purpose of inviting him. Make him aware of the outcome of his coming to prevent disappointments and issues. Don’t forget to tell him or her what you don’t do at your meetings (Eg: we don’t prophesy to the pastors and their wives in public)
8. After every ministration, go back to the secret place and reflect and build. This will save you from expiration.
9. Understand the three dimension of Ministry, according to Lord Micah. Ministry is spiritual, professional and diplomatic. It matters very much.
